The Plastic Pollution Targeted Project will aim to go beyond recycling plastics to focus on the recovery, the removal and reduction of plastics at all levels of society and regulating plastics more comprehensively from production to disposal.

To support the development of the project, we’re organising a Project Lab event. If you would like to be considered as a potential partner on the project, you will need to be able to attend the project lab event, which is key to developing the project idea and partnership. Details can be found below:

Project Lab Details
Location: Pôle Numérique Brest Iroise 305 Avenue Alexis de Rochon 29280 Plouzané, France
Date: 27 September 2018

Please note that participation at the Project Lab does not guarantee a place on the project.

So what are Targeted Projects? Targeted Projects are large-scale projects developed by the Programme in a ‘top down’ approach. They aim to tackle pre-identified issues that are seen by the Programme as being particularly important to the economic and sustainable development of the Channel area.

More information on the application process, the timeline, the Plastic Pollution Targeted Project and the support you get from us can be found in our handbook here. Please read this carefully before registering your interest.
