Cornish social media agency director wins entrepreneur award

The director of a Cornish social media marketing agency has won in the regional finals of a national awards celebrating the best and most inspiring entrepreneurs in the country.

Katherine George, founder of international social media marketing agency Oh So Social and new online training business Oh So Savvy, has been named as the Creative Industries Entrepreneur of the Year at the South West final of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

Speaking of her success, Katherine said: “I’m honoured and shocked to have been announced as the winner at the regional final amongst so many inspiring entrepreneurs from across the South West. It’s fantastic to have my hard work recognised by such an established awards programme and I’m looking forward to attending the national final.”

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards, sponsored by NatWest, highlights the hard work of entrepreneurs and businesses in the United Kingdom and celebrates the incredible stories that have taken entrepreneurs to where they are today, regardless of size or turnover.

Katherine will now progress to the national Gala Final in London during November, where she will be up against the other category winners from eight regions across the UK.
