We’re delighted to be sponsoring this year’s Scilly Business Week, which takes place from 18th – 22nd of March.

“The Islands’ Partnership have put together a really great programme for this year and we are delighted to be working with them again to make sure businesses on Scilly can make the most of the development opportunities out there,”

Stu Anderson

Operations Director, Growth & Skills Hub

Organised by the Islands’ Partnership, this year’s programme is full to bursting with sessions on how to extend the season through to improving business efficiencies and examples of business excellence through a series of case studies.

Our very own Chris Phillips from the Growth Hub team will lead a morning session on Business Support including a series of presentations from a range of business support partners and a Market Place where you are invited to meet with stand holders to discuss support needs, finance and training opportunities, as well as hosting a networking lunch.

Josh Hoole and Trish Peacock from the Skills Team will also be giving a presentation on Access to Training about the funding that may be available to help businesses from the Scilly’s fund travel to the mainland to access training.

“The Islands’ Partnership have put together a really great programme for this year and we are delighted to be working with them again to make sure businesses on Scilly can make the most of the development opportunities out there,” says Stu Anderson, our Operations Director. “It’s a great fit with the work that we do at the Growth & Skills Hub, connecting business owners and entrepreneurs with the right support and training opportunities to help them work smarter and grow in a way that is right for them. This year the Skills Hub will also be promoting the Access to Training Fund, which is available to help businesses with travel costs to attend training on the mainland.”

All sessions will be held at Tregathan’s Hotel, St Mary’s and are free to attend. To book on any of the sessions please call 01720 620 601 or email enquiries@islandpartnerships.co.uk.
