Top dogs and brilliant businesses at the Royal Cornwall Show

We had a fantastic time at the Royal Cornwall Show last week.

Despite the wild and windy weather, we were delighted to see that the number of enquiries we collected for a Business or Skills Review was more than last year, even though numbers of attendees overall were slightly down owing to the weather.

We met some fantastic businesses from across Cornwall from Medical Herbalists to Roofers. The interest in the Growth and Skills Hub was very high and it was great to speak to so many people who were also planning on starting a business.

It was a pleasure to share our stand over the three days with a number of our partner organisations.

The show was also a great opportunity to meet business owners from the agri-tech community. We are currently surveying farmers and agri-business owners to find out what skills could help them run their business more effectively.
