Getting outside and doing things differently to spark new ideas in enterprise.

Enterprise need: Time away from the office for networking, business and peer to peer support and discussion around innovation.

Offer: A new style of business support developed by the University of Exeter which takes enterprises into spaces that invigorate and inspire, using a combination of methods that enable open innovation. Creating the right conditions for generating thinking and discussion within peer-to-peer networks.

Format: Providing activities to help change how enterprises think including networking while walking along the Cornish coastline, coming up with new business ideas while bodyboarding in the Atlantic, solving problems with similar enterprises after an invigorating yoga session.

Events will be in person with outdoor networking, a half-day innovation workshop with activity (e.g., bodyboarding) and a 2 day overnight trip with innovation workshop (e.g., Dartmoor).

Delivered by: Academics from the University of Exeter Business School: Allen Alexander (Associate Professor in Innovation and Circular Economy) and Hollie Kirk (Lecturer in Entrepreneurship).

The University of Exeter has been commissioned to deliver the EVOLVE FUTURES project on behalf of the Growth Hub by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund as part of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme
