Through Access Cornwall, individuals with disabilities become experts in guiding Cornish businesses and charities to achieve affordable and achievable accessibility solutions. Our environmentally sustainable model addresses the lack of comprehensive accessibility information for people with disabilities, thus instilling confidence in accessing various Cornish hospitality businesses.

Moreover, our initiative fosters skill development and employment opportunities for the disabled community in Cornwall. By making local activities and leisure opportunities more accessible, we facilitate social integration and positively impact the lives of individuals who may have been confined to their homes for years.

We create printed and digital guides including the Accessible Guide to Cornwall, Accessible Town Guides and helpful guides to services such as our Accessible Guide to Train Travel in Cornwall produced with GWR.

Without this information, many people who live with disabilities and their carers simply will not feel confident enough to step out of their own front doors and enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer. When they do have the information, provided by people who live with similar challenges, they can enjoy days out and time with family and friends that makes like more joyful and meaningful.

This project created by people with disabilities and learning differences, for this community is making a powerful difference. Join us in our mission to help make Cornwall more accessible for as many people as possible.
