Cornwall Chamber of Commerce has collaborated with the Department for International Trade and Export for Growth once more to bring an exciting business HUB to different locations around the county.

The Export Hub is a large Exporting is GREAT branded truck, akin to Doctor Who’s TARDIS, which transforms to a portable seminar space and will be the scene for three special interactive workshops around the county. Cornwall Chamber of Commerce wish to invite companies to gain some help and advice for trading overseas and growing their businesses at these high value events.

 Marine sector ‘Ready to Export Workshop’ – Falmouth
The first event on Wednesday 13th September will see the Exporting is GREAT mobile Export Hub arrive at Ships and Castles’ car park in Falmouth. This free event will focus on the marine and surf industries in Cornwall. Designed to be an interactive workshop, this offers those new to exporting the opportunity to gather insights and create an export plan, in order to take the first steps into trading overseas. A delicious buffet lunch will be provided by Annie’s Kitchen.

Paid Social Media Advertising for Tourism – Bude
On Thursday 14th September the truck will heave up the Atlantic Highway to deliver a high value training session on using paid advertising to increase year round sales for those businesses in the tourism sector. Situated in Bude’s Wharf Car Park, a buffet lunch will be provided for those attending. Cornwall Chamber and the DIT welcome businesses from the local and surrounding areas who are interested in getting overseas visitors on the books.

Ready to Export Workshop – Food & Drink Sector
The final event on Friday 15th September will be a ready to export workshop aimed at those trading in food and drink sector. Situated in the Waitrose and Great Cornish Food Store car park in Truro, this event is being delivered by Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and the Department for International Trade. It will cover how to find opportunities for business expansion and the best ways to gain access to specific markets by creating an export plan to get on the road to international trade.
