Today, Friday April 26, is World Intellectual Property Day and here at the Growth Hub by speaking to hundreds of businesses a year we know the importance of protecting your ideas for your commercial success.

In fact, the Growth Hub, along with Evolve Futures, are offering the Intellectual Property - what you need to know workshop on June 4th for businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

This event will see expert speakers Amy Ralston and Olivier Martinez talking on topics including the importance of Intellectual Property in driving business growth and gaining a competitive edge, and why understanding IP is crucial for long-term success and sustainability.

Amy is a Legal 500 recommended Intellectual Property and Technology Associate Lawyer at Stephens Scown, a B Corp and employee-owned law firm. She specialises in AI and IP audits. Olivier Martinez is a European patent attorney and partner at Page White Farrer – an Intellectual Property law firm specialising in Patent, Trademark and Design rights with offices in London, Leeds, Exeter and Munich. He has 15 years of experience and advises start-ups, SMEs and multinationals.

The workshop is due take place on June 4th from 8.30am – 11.30am at University of Exeter – Penryn, or join online.
