They have been helpful every stage of the way and the training itself has been top quality.

Martin

How we helped

To ensure the business runs smoothly, Martin felt it was important to improve his managerial skills and build-up his confidence. Martin attended a couple of the Skills Hub’s business events and eventually signed-up for a Skills Review, where he talked through his business plans and areas where he needed support.

The Skills Hub  worked with Martin to identify the most relevant training, HR and managerial courses which happened to be free of charge.

The courses have helped Martin to be more authoritative, “It’s given me a lot more confidence to be a manager. I’m constantly thinking back on my training when I have any problems.  It just made me more confident in committing to things.”

Martin highly recommends for other business owners in Cornwall to get a Skills Review.

“It’s good to just get an idea of where you are and where you can be. There is never any pressure or obligation. They have been helpful every stage of the way and the training itself has been top quality,” says Martin.
