Your support with the barbering qualification, training costs and continued help with furthering my studies, has been intrinsic in developing the business

How we helped

We helped Warren find the perfect barbering course to refresh his skills and earn his NVQ. While the course began in Plymouth, he was able to continue his sessions remotely. We also helped him source funding for his training through the Skills Hub Access to Training scheme, which funds travel to and accommodation on the mainland for Isles of Scilly businesses.

“Your support with the barbering qualification, training costs and continued help with furthering my studies, has been intrinsic in developing the business,” said Warren.

In addition to the barbering qualification, we signposted Warren to a course that would hone his accounting skills, learning how to use a software package geared for SMEs.

Warren will be looking at his next round of NVQ training in the New year.
