Coodes Associate becomes only Personal Injury accredited solicitor in Cornwall

Coodes Solicitors, one of the South West's longest established law firms, is celebrating the accreditation of David Usher, Associate, onto the Personal Injury Panel with the Law Society.

David Usher is now the only current Personal Injury accredited solicitor with the Law Society in Cornwall, and the second in Devon.

The firm, established in 1747, has eight offices across Cornwall and Devon and is recognised as a leading law firm in both the Legal 500 and UK Chambers and Partners guides.

David Usher is an Associate in the Personal Injury Department, having joined Coodes in 2023. He has spent the past 10 years specialising in personal injury. During this time, David has gained an extensive range of experience dealing with everything from low value claims right through to more complex and higher value personal injury claims. He has a track record of securing results for clients and has settled in excess of two hundred and fifty claims to date in his career.

The Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme with the Law Society is a recognised quality standard for practitioners representing victims and their dependents in personal injury matters. The scheme has a number of eligibility criteria, including a minimum of 3 years of practice, and is accompanied by a stringent and detailed application process to ensure high levels of competency in various aspects of personal injury law, which makes it a difficult process to achieve accreditation.
